Economics
Olivier
became involved with venture capital in 1988 following a
career as an engineer in large export projects (Sofretu
then the Schneider Group).
From 2000
until 2005, Olivier was at the Caisse des Dépôts Group,
Executive Director of CDC Entreprises FP-Gestion, in
charge of the Fonds Public pour le capital risque and
the Fonds de promotion pour le capital risque.
Previously,
he succesively led SNVB Participations (CIC Group), BTP
Capital, the investment of Crédit du Nord and private
equity with Société Générale.
Since the
beginning of the 90's, Olivier took an active interest
in the investment sectors of the Demeter fund.
He directed,
for 5 years, the BTP Capital fund, which he specialized
in the
eco-industries with excellent results.His track-record
(about 50 investments with an overall gross IRR of
22.6%) shows a dozen successes in this sector.
At the AFIC
(Association Française des Investissements en Capital /
French Private Equtiy Association), Olivier is Chairman
of the training committee and a member of the ethics
committee.
Olivier
Dupont is the author of two books: "Les PME et le marché
de l'environnement" (1995) and "Ajustement de prix et
capital investissement" (2002).
