Demeter
Partners takes capital interests in companies (generally unlisted)
in the eco-industries,
eco-energies and modern-day hazards sectors, with a view to financing
their growth.
Demeter Partners intervenes primarily during
the “capital development” phase, to help develop companies
with strong growth potential, as a minority shareholder working
with executives.
Demeter Partners has also been involved in
venture capital projects, helping start-up companies,
and in particular those in the eco-energies and modern-day hazards
sectors.
We also participate in LBO or pre-IPO projects,
in syndication with other funds, when companies
are purchased or transferred.
Investing as industrials
Demeter Partners hopes to be a partner which, other than providing
equity, brings to the table:
– an objective point of view, but as a stakeholder,
helping with strategy,
– sector-based added value in its working relationships
with executives,
– the responsiveness needed by SME executives to help
them make decisions,
– its knowledge of how to create value for shareholders.
In particular, we try to build a relationship of trust and let
existing shareholders and executives the initiative in developing
their business.

Demeter Partners is a Paris-based investment capital firm certified
by the Autorité des marchés financiers (stock market
authority) since July 2005, majority owned by the management team.
We are mainly oriented toward development capital, working with
companies as they grow in the following sectors:
– eco-industries (water, air and waste treatment, site
clean-up, etc.),
– eco-energies (energy efficiency, renewable energies,
etc.),
We bring to the table broad experience in investment capital and
in the areas of business of the companies in which we invest.
As part of our international strategy, we have developed partnerships
with foreign funds (English, German and Spanish) which are involved
in Demeter's sectors; we are also members of international networks
of investors specialized in “clean technologies”.
The mission of Demeter Partners is to raise and manage other sector-based
investment capital funds differentiating themselves from Demeter
either through their different geographic position or the phase
of development of the companies, or by FCPI funds open to the
public.
