Detlef Steinmann joined DEMETER PARTNERS on October 1st 2009 as an investment director. He cumulates 9 years of experience in Private Equity, with in-depth knowledge in renewable energies, particularly in solar energy and more than 10 years from leading positions in the industry.
As an investment director at Capital Stage AG since 2000, Detlef Steinmann had been, back in 2001, the driving force to invest in solar companies.
In the industry, Detlef was Deputy Chief of Controlling at the Construction Conglomerate Bilfinger Berger AG from 1998 to 2000.
From 1994 to 1998, he implemented and led the Controlling /Corporate Planning department at the Construction Group Wayss & Freitag AG, which was sold to the Holländische Beton Group, NL.
From 1991 to 1993, he was treasurer for the IT Company Memorex Telex AG.
Detlef began his career at the international trading company and former Veba (toady known as "e.on"), subsidiary Franck & Schulte GmbH from 1998 to 1991. In 1986, he implemented a cost accounting system at Stauff Corp., N-J, U.S.A.
