MBA from INSEAD, Chemical Engineering degree (MEng Hons.) from Imperial College (London), Chartered Engineer (C.Eng) under the UK’s Institute of Chemical Engineers.
Javier Madurga joined Demeter Partners as an Investment Director in February 2010, and is based out its Madrid office. Mr. Madurga has 13 years of experience in the renewable energy, environmental services, and oil & gas industries, in fields ranging from corporate finance and investment analysis, to project development, consulting and engineering.
Prior to joining Demeter, Mr. Madurga was Vice President for Corporate Development at Solena Group, an emerging American “Cleantech” company, with responsibility for corporate finance, investment analysis and project finance, and for supporting the CEO in developing strategic partnerships and exploring new market opportunities. Prior to joining Solena he worked for Acciona as a Corporate Development associate. In his earlier career, Mr. Madurga was a process engineer and consultant in the Oil & Gas industry in the UK, working for Bechtel Corporation and M.W. Kellogg, part of the Halliburton group.
